Here are five things you should know about in Barrington this Thanksgiving week:
- The Town Hall, public library and senior center will all be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The library also closes early on Wednesday – 4:30 pm.
- Arts Alive! holds auditions at the Barrington Middle School on Monday, Nov. 19, at 2:30 pm for “Once Upon a Mattress,” the nonprofit’s performance at the school this year.
- The Barrington School Committee holds its second November meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 pm in the School Committee Meeting Room in Town Hall. The board usually meetings on Thursday evenings.
- The 13th annual Trot Off Your Turkey 5K Road Race and 1.5 Mile Run Walk takes place on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 10 am at St. Luke’s School.
- The Ocean Bones, a local trombone ensemble, and George Masso, a local musician, will perform popular songs at the Barrington library on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, starting at 2 pm. Free and open to anyone.
