5 Things to Know About This Week

Here are 5 things you should know about for Thanksgiving week in Barrington.

 

Here are five things you should know about in Barrington this Thanksgiving week:

  1. The Town Hall, public library and senior center will all be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The library also closes early on Wednesday – 4:30 pm.
  2. Arts Alive! holds auditions at the Barrington Middle School on Monday, Nov. 19, at 2:30 pm for “Once Upon a Mattress,” the nonprofit’s performance at the school this year.
  3. The Barrington School Committee holds its second November meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 pm in the School Committee Meeting Room in Town Hall. The board usually meetings on Thursday evenings.
  4. The 13th annual Trot Off Your Turkey 5K Road Race and 1.5 Mile Run Walk takes place on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 10 am at St. Luke’s School.
  5. The Ocean Bones, a local trombone ensemble, and George Masso, a local musician, will perform popular songs at the Barrington library on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, starting at 2 pm. Free and open to anyone.
