- The Barrington library hosts a discussion of the costs of assisted living late Monday afternoon, Oct. 29, hurricane permitting; it runs from 4 to 5:30 pm.
- The Bayside YMCA offers another “Kids Night Out” on Friday, Nov. 2, starting at 5:30 pm.
- The annual used book sale of the Friends of the Barrington Library is next weekend, Nov. 2-4, in the Senior Center.
- Cub Scouts from Pack 2 return to the Primrose and St. Luke’s neighborhoods on Saturday morning to collect perishable foods for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank; it’s part of the 25th annual Scouting for Food Drive.
- Temple Habonim unveils its second art show by members on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. The show, which will continue through December, will feature the photography of Heather MacLeod and Giacomo Fortunato and the watercolors of Jean Patiky.
