Winter Vocal Concert; Parents' Night Out; Christmas Celebration; 'Barty Smarty'; Winter Jazz Concert
Here are five things you should know about this week in Barrington:
- The Barrington High School Music Department presents its Winter Vocal Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 pm. It features the Concert Choir and Choral Ensemble singing seasonal selections as well as the Brass Ensemble, The Ukeladies, a violin solo, and the BHS Women's Ensemble.
- Parents! Enjoy a worry-free night out while your children have a fun-filled time at the Bayside YMCA on Friday night, Dec. 14, starting at 5:30 pm. The Night Out Includes gym time, pizza, popcorn, a movie and more! This week's theme is Nerf Dart Tag.
- The Barrington United Methodist Church, 230 Washington Road, hosts "An Evening of the Arts: A Christmas Celebration at BUMC" on Friday, Dec. 14, starting at 6 pm. The evening will include singers/soloists, musicians, readings, a children's pageant, a carol sing, and more.
- “Barty Smarty’s Christmas Caper” returns to the Barrington library on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 15, at 2 pm. It’s a hilarious interactive musical holiday happening for the whole family.
- The Barrington Preservation Society presents a Winter Jazz Concert on Saturday, Dec. 15, featuring the Barrington High School Jazz Ensemble at the Barrington Congregational Church. It starts at 7:30 pm.
