- Barrington Unites, an annual candlelight vigil to remember loved ones lost, takes place Monday evening, Dec. 17, at 7 pm at the Barrington Congregational Church, 461 County Road.
- The Barrington Town Council gathers Monday, Dec. 17, for its monthly meeting at 7 pm in the Council Chamber in Town Hall.
- See ‘A Christmas Story’ on Thursday, Dec. 20, on the big screen in the Barrington library auditorium. It starts at 7 pm.
- The Bristol County Water Authority board of directors holds a public hearing on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 6 pm in the Warren Town Hall to explain its proposal to raise water rates by 12 percent across the board.
- The Barrington Land Conservation Trusts holds a winter walk and cookie exchange on Saturday, Dec. 22, to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the preservation of Sowams Woods. It runs from 1 to 3 pm.
