July 30 UPDATE! Seen in Barrington on Massasoit Ave! Please read the 2nd & 3rd comments below for more info. OUR DOG IS LOST! Cairn Terrier mix, tan/wheaten color, shaggy coat, short legs. 15 yrs old, DEAF, missing since Tuesday, July 10. Last seen at the beach at Coles River Landing, off Rt 103, Swansea, MA. My husband is a Marine, & she was his Service Dog until her retirement 2 years ago. Her absence is causing our whole family tremendous anguish. She was leashed to a picnic table, but she got loose somehow and wandered off in the dark. Being deaf, calling her doesn't help. She is chipped, but that only helps if someone takes her in. Please help her come home! Cross post, talk to people, slow down to look at that dog you drove past....We have done all the standard things - vets, shelters, posters, repeated searching on foot. No reliable reports of her yet.  7/18 Thank you to all who have shared this! Please share again every few days - maybe the right person will finally see it! My husband met a woman today who looked at the photo and said she had seen Asia about 2-4 days after she got lost, walking around in her neighborhood, off Rt 103 opposite Coles River Landing. We'll be putting flyers in every mailbox around there tomorrow. Fingers crossed...
